Clare, Curt, Cari, and Cindee, I'm so sorry to hear of Dee's passing. There are way too many memories to share. All of them infused with Dee's love, sincere care for me, and joy. Even though she started as my friend's (Curt), mom, she became a mentor and friend through Young People's. Then reconnecting at RBC and sharing friends there too. The last time I saw Dee and Clare was when I visited their condo during a visit to my parents when my mom was still living. To be silly, I slipped out while they were chatting and took some toilet paper from my Dad's van and TP'd the only tiny tree in their front yard in memory of all the times I did that to them as a teenager! Do you remember that, Clare? Can't wait to see her in glory! I'm sure we'll do lots of laughing and sharing. Love you, Clare! May you feel Jesus close through this time of loss. Dear Clare, This morning, Michelle Norquist shared with me the news of Dee's passing. On behalf of the RBC/Kuyper College community, I want to express our deepest sympathy to you and your family. I wasn't a part of the College community when Dee worked here, but I understand she faithfully served in a variety of positions and always was engaged with our alumni. That certainly shows her value for relationships with others and her support of RBC/Kuyper's mission. We are praying for God's comfort and peace for you, and we are giving thanks for her life of service. Underneath are God's loving and everlasting arms, Patti Harris President, Kuyper College

My sympathies to your family. I have so many great memories as a child coming to visit and stay at Clare and Dee’ house with my family. Dee was such a kind and loving person and showed Christ’s love in many ways as she would host us. As an adult, she and Clare once again opened their doors to my husband as he had to stay with them for multiple weeks as we had unforeseen circumstances of transitioning to seminary. Words can’t express how grateful we were as they opened their home and hearts for him on such a short notice. She always treated us like family whenever we would visit. May your family find comfort and peace knowing that Dee touched many people in the same way as she touched me and my family.. My family and I will be praying for you in the upcoming days and weeks without her. Trella, Ken, Meredith, and Macy Honken

My sincere condolences for the family's loss. One did not have to know Dee personally to see the love she carried in her heart. May her family and friends find comfort in knowing that Dee's love is never-ending. Even in her passing, her love remains in the wonderful memories that will forever bring smiles to your faces. Take comfort in knowing God remembers her too. Acts24;15;Psalms37:11,29
