Debra Parkins

Debra Jean Parkins, aged 59 years, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo W. Edwards and Shirley Jean (Thornton) Edwards; brother, Randy Edwards and sister, Kelly Empie. Surviving are her loving companion of 18 years, Doug Culp; her sons, Jason (Nikki) Edwards, Travis Parkins; grandchildren, Chase, Maya and Sebastian; brothers, Leo (Robbin) Edwards, Joe (Robin) Edwards, Jerry Edwards; sisters, Kathy Edwards, Barb (Chuck) Brown, Margie (Billy) Cole; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Debra loved and cared for her family and friends. She made the best cheesecake in the world and truly loved the simple things in life. Debra was a Yooper at heart and loved spending time in the UP.
