Debra K. Jurries

Debra K. Jurries, age 61, of Grandville, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020 following complications after open heart surgery. She is now healed and whole and is enjoying peace and eternity with her Lord and Savior. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Carol Schipper and her in-laws, Leonard and Shirley Jurries. Debra leaves behind her husband of 36 years, Thomas Jurries; son, Steven Jurries and his fiancée, Amber Rookus; newborn grandsons, Koda Bernard and Kai Leonard; brother, Robert Schipper; in-laws, Randy and Darla Jurries, Mark and Joy Jurries; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. Funeral services were held on Friday, October 9, 2020 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. Harvey Heneveld officiating. The burial took place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.

While my memories of Debi are of laughter and of her great humorous comebacks, I also saw two halves of a special couple with her and Tom finishing eachother sentences and their love for eachother ever present. Tom without Debi will be like he's not whole.....but his love of God his Father will be his saving grace. Thank you Debi for being his best friend and loving mate and also for Disney World. ❤
