Deborah Favreau

FAVREAU - Deborah Jean (Norman), age 62, passed away suddenly at The Oaks at Cascade nursing home on June 1, 2020. She was preceded in death by her father, John Norman Sr., and grandparents, William and Ada (De Zeeuw) Reickard, and Jules and Aleen (Polack) Norman. She graduated from Northview High School in 1976 then worked at Holland Home and Porter Hills as a dietary aid. Deb was an avid reader and loved her Bible. She loved all kinds of music and western movies and TV shows. In 2001, Deb was diagnosed with an inoperable malignant brain tumor. It went into remission after 31 treatments of radiation but came back 11 years later. Deb never complained and remained in good spirits throughout those 19 years, a true testament to her character. Deb will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Erma Norman; brothers, John (Sandi) Norman, La Verne, CA, and Jeffrey (Nancy) Norman, Coopersville; sister, Lori (Mark) Schumann, Belmont; nephews and nieces JJ (Ashley), Eric, Kevin, Jamie (Justin), Michael, Chase (Mary), Josh, and Chelsea; 7 great nephews, 3 great nieces, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. They will all miss her dearly, but find comfort knowing she is with our Lord and Savior. The family wishes to thank the staff of Oaks at Cascade and Kindred Care Hospice for their kindness, compassion, and care of Deb. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place.
