Dawn Marti

Dawn Marti, loving wife and mother of three, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 24, 2016. Dawn was born in Battle Creek, MI on October 28, 1982. She attended Battle Creek Central High School and the Battle Creek area Math and Science Center. She had a passion for photography and flying and graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelors degree in Aviation. Dawn is survived by her husband, Juventino Ortiz; children, Briana, Devin and Alex Ortiz; parents; Jan and Rosene Marti; sister, Erin Jarrell; and nephew and niece, Gavin and Aria Jarrell. A funeral service for Dawn will be held Tuesday at 11:30 am at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming with Fr. Phil Shangraw officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family at the funeral home Tuesday from 10:30-11:30 am prior to the service.
