David “Rainmaker” Ymker, age 63, of Jenison, reached his final destination on Monday, October 21, 2024 and is now rejoicing in heaven with his Lord and Savior. Dave loved people and befriended anyone; it is often said Dave never met a stranger. He was a trucker for 40 years. Dave loved his family and will be deeply missed by his wife of 42 years, Kathy; children and grandchildren, Robert and Kristie Ymker (David, Addie, Kirbie), Jake Ymker, Krista and Andrew Brocker (Shelby, Hudson); mother, Karen Ymker; sister, Deb and Ken Nykamp; brother, Doug and Tina Ymker; best friend, Dale and Marisol Oosterink; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 11:30 am at Fair Haven Church, 2900 Baldwin St., Hudsonville with Pastor Jeremy Kreuze officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family 10:30 - 11:15 am prior to the service at church.
