David Talmage

On Saturday, May 20, 2023, our beloved David, at the age of 65, walked through his waterfall of healing and into Glory after a long courageous battle with cancer.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 43 years, Dena; children: Benjamin Talmage, Allison Talmage (Rick), Jameson (Jamie) Talmage; grandchildren: Jayden Talmage, Atticus Aernouts, Paxton Aernouts, Jaxson Talmage, Elliott Talmage, Adelaide Talmage, and Declan Aernouts; mother, Violet Talmage; brothers, Daniel (Caryn) Talmage, Stephen (Jean) Talmage, Phillip (Marianne) Talmage; brother-in-law, Gerry (Lisa) Stegehuis; sisters-in-law, Pamela Talmage, Jane (Rob) Spicher, Kim (Mark) Scholten, Becky Braun; as well as numerous special nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Talmage and brother, John Talmage.

The healing our family prayed for these last thirteen years has now taken place and we praise the LORD for his promise to do so. His greatest desire was to live and have meaningful relationships with each of his beloved grandchildren. Dave lived and loved well and has left a beautiful legacy of faith for us all.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at South Grandville Church, 4130 Wilson Ave. Grandville, MI 49418. Relatives and friends may greet the family from 3-4 pm prior to the service at church.
