I wanted to express my heartfelt sympathy to the Steenland family. Dave and I were football teammates for 2 years at GRJC. Dave was a fierce competitor and great athlete on the football field. He was a humble man and always let his natural God given abilities speak for themselves. We had alot of fun together as our teams traveled to Iowa , Alabama , and New York . Dave was a great guy and he will be truly missed.

So many of my childhood memories star Uncle Dave from perfecting my catching skills to all of the adventures on our family vacations. He was always willing to hang out with the kids. I am blessed to have spent my formative years with your family. I will cherish those memories always. My heart is breaking for your family. May God provide you peace.
