David Alan Meyering, age 60, of Middleville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 25, 2020 after a short battle with cancer. David worked over 42 years at Steelcase. He loved hunting, boating and being outdoors. Most of all he loved spoiling and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Barbara Meyering. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Stacey and Steve Wilder, Dave and Julie Meyering; grandchildren: Bryson Meyering, Zoe Wilder, Jase Wilder; brother and sister: Mark (Cheryl) Meyering, Gayle Duch; nephews and niece: Josh (Felecia) Meyering, Kyle (Lauren) Duch, Brian (Shelby) Duch, Stephanie Meyering. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 3, 2020 at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park Ave. SW, Wyoming, with Rev. John Vallier presiding. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave. SW, Wyoming.
