David Main

Main - Mr. David S. Main aged 87 of Grand Rapids, went to be with His Lord Sunday, February 14, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lo in 2013, and sister, Ruth Meyer. Mr. Main is survived by his children, Patricia "Patty" (Steve) Shepard, Stephen "Steve" (Susan) Main; grandchildren, Sarah Main, Lara (Andrew) Gnage, Bethany (Seth) Bjorlie, Geoffrey "Geoff" Warren, Tricia (Adam) Hughes; great-grandchildren, Malachi Gnage, Noah Gnage, Phinehas Bjorlie, Eden Gnage (born 2/13/16). David was honored to serve his country in the Army during the Korean conflict, and to serve others as a pharmacist thereafter. He and his wife Mary Lo were both active with the Gideons International, Forest Hills Bible Chapel, Horton Haven Christian Camp, Shelbyville Gospel Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Rest Haven Homes, 1424 Union Ave. NE. Grand Rapids, MI. His family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday from 7:30 to 8:30 PM at Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Belmont, 1601 Post Dr. NE and one hour preceding the service on Thursday.
