David Jack Bol, age 70, of Hudsonville, was called home to be with his risen Lord and Savior on Friday, March 11, 2016. God touched many lives through Dave’s positive spirit and his words of encouragement. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerrit Bol and his infant brother, Steven. He will be remembered by his loving wife of 48 years, Barb; children and grandchildren, Kristin and Steve Siebers (Joshua, Tessa, and Lindsey), Matt and Julie Bol (Meredith, Mitchell, and Lana), Kara and Mike Abramowski (Jesse, Emery, and Mayce); mother, Eleanore Bol; sisters, Ruth and Mark Hoeksema, Priscilla and Pat MacGraw; brother, Jon and Barb Bol; brother-in-law, Tom and Karen Postmus; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of David’s life will be held on Thursday 1 pm at Well Spring Church, 4466 Bauer Rd., Hudsonville with Pastor Steve Gibson officiating. Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 11 am to 1 pm at the church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Mission India or Samaritan’s Purse.
