David J. Demkowski, aged 74 of Wyoming, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, July 11, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Marion Demkowski. Surviving are his children, Gretchen and Darrel Holtzlander, Iran Demkowski, David Demkowski; grandchildren, Arik (fiancée, Sarah), Steven, Dillon (Amanda); great-granddaughters, Kylie, Sophea, Ariella; brothers, James and Barb Demkowski, Charles and Lynn Demkowski, Ken and Pat Demkowski, Frank and Tammy Demkowski; sisters, Barbara and Randy Weasel, Beatrice and Kevin Montri, Beth Demkowski; many nieces, nephews and friends. David proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of American Legion Post 208 and Monroe Chapter 142 (VVA). A Memorial Mass for David will be held 11am Saturday, August 5, at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, with an hour of visitation prior to the mass. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Faith Hospice.
