David Gerald Mohr

David Gerald Mohr, age 70, of Allendale, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, January 8, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Pauline Mohr; brothers, Dean Mohr, Danny Mohr, and Phillip Mohr. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Cindy; children, Chris Mohr, Kim (Andy) Genuise; grandchildren, Sierra, Jarrod, Craig, Josh, Collin, Alex, Megan; sisters, Pat Redding, Aleta (Bob) Johns; sisters-in-law, Karen Mohr, Judy Mohr; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service celebrating David’s life will be held at 5:30 pm on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf (Allendale), 6651 Scott St. with Pastor Jim Maness officiating. Burial at Allendale Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 1-3 and 4-5:30 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Learned of Dave's passing, So sorry for your loss. I worked with Dave at Armstrong's in the toolroom and it took him a bit to understand my humor but we had a good time and we enjoyed his days there. thoughts and prayers to the family, I'm sure Dave is in his Balloon in the heavens.

One of my favorite memories is our family driving from Arizona to Michigan to visit. We got to ride in your hot air balloon and hike through the woods in your back yard. I will cherish those memories always. Rest in peace Grandpa Mohr.
