David Driggs

David Michael Driggs, age 76, of Hudsonville, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Beatrice Driggs. He was active in the bridge club at Georgetown Senior Center and was an amateur radio operator. David graduated with one of the first computer science degrees from GVSU. He was a retiree of IBM and still enjoyed high tech in his retirement. He will be lovingly remembered by his children and grandchildren, Jennifer and Walt Helsel (Timothy, Lindsey, Olivia, Ellie), Dave and Jenn Driggs (Jonathan, Ben, Nate); sister and brother, Diane and Erv Einiks, Doug and Deb Driggs; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Kentwood) 4646 Kalamazoo Ave., with Pastor Chris Pannell officiating. The burial will take place at Rest Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Georgetown Senior Center.
