Dear Hofstra family, please except my deepest condolences for the loss of your dear loved one Dave. May Jehovah, the God of all comfort, (2Corintians 1:3,4) comfort you in your time of need. His word assures us at Isaiah 33:24 that one day there will be no more sickness and at Isaiah 25:8 and Revelation 21:4, that one day death will be no more. At John 5:28,29, Jesus himself said that there will be a resurrection of those loss in death. And Psalms 37:29 guarantees that they will live again on a cleansed earth. Please read the cited scriptures so as to be encouraged and if you would like to learn more, please visit jw.org. My prayers are with you.

My condolences to the family. I am a daughter of Gilbert Evers who was the second husband of Dave's mother. I remember the family and Hofstra's Bakery fondly as I too grew up in Roseland. I now live in Grand Rapids. Joanne, thank you for being a friend to me in Sunday School at 3rd CRC.
