Mary and family, please know you are in our thoughts. Dave was a very good no-nonsense teacher with a good heart and a wry sense of humor. I was fortunate to spend time with him as a friend when I was back in GR on leave from the Navy and then in DC and Annapolis. We sailed and compared notes on the Navy, life, and family. Fair winds. With deepest sympathy, Steve Johnson

I didn’t know David very long, but in those few years, I enjoyed his company as a fellow sailor and sitting on the shore sharing stories. My condolences to his family. RIP. Brent Nowak

Mr. Bloye was a great teacher and a good man! He was one of a few teachers that encouraged me in my call to the ministry. I have thought of him often over the years, and remembered his influence on me and so many others.

Mr. Bloye was a great teacher. Our class was the only one to have him twice. He was tough, firm and caring. We kearned as much responibility as much as we did about government. He will be missed.
