David Anthony Mancuso, age 31 of Kentwood, was called to his heavenly home on Saturday, August 4, 2018. David was predeceased by his grandparents, Mary Boehrig, Joseph and Rose Mancuso. He will be dearly missed by his parents, Michael and Linda Mancuso; sister, Rachel Mancuso and Al Weimer; brother, Michael and Allison Mancuso; grandfather, Joseph E. Boehrig; nieces and nephews, Rose, Owen, Carter, Michael, and Alfred; many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Dave valiantly served his country in the US Army as a medic and helicopter gunner, attaining the rank of sergeant during the Iraq War. He was a loving and caring son, brother, and uncle. He was devoted to his God, family, and country. The loves of his life were his two labrador retrievers, Smith and Wesson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW,  with Fr. John Vallier officiating. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Wednesday from 10-11 am at church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Cleft Lip and Palate Foundation of Smiles or Wounded Warrior Project.
