Dave   DeYoung

Dave DeYoung, age 42, of Allendale, passed away unexpectedly and went to be with his Lord on Saturday, September 27, 2014.  He will be dearly missed by his wife of 20 years, Melissa “Missy”; their children, Caleb, Collin and Megan; parents, Dale and Pam DeYoung, Sharon and Dennis Shoemaker; brothers and sisters, Steve and Dawn DeYoung, Dawn and Tim Gruss, Marcia and Mike Barkey, Keri DeYoung; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ron and Carol Helder; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Sue Helder, Pam and Kevin Stevenson, Greg and Jennifer Helder, Wendi and Chad Vostad, Amy and Brandon Dykstra; grandfather-in-law, Arthur Oom; many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday 11 am at Rusk Christian Reformed Church, 10354 92nd Ave., Allendale with Rev. Mark Neymeiyer officiating.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (corner of Avery and Scott) 6651 Scott St., Allendale.  In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to his children’s education fund.
