Danny Lee Meyers Jr. was born on October 21, 1967, and passed away unexpectedly on September 17, 2021. He leaves behind his beautiful wife of 32 years, Melissa; three children, Julia (30), Danny III (28), and Sandra (26); his mother, Linda; and brother, Darryl. Dan enjoyed watching sports, especially the Miami Heat and MSU. Dan was loved by many, brought laughter everywhere he went, and was the life of the party. Dan and Melissa loved a good adventure and trying new things all around Michigan. A gathering to celebrate Dan’s life will take place on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 2 p.m. at The Commons Restaurant, 547 Cherry St. S.E., Suite C, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.

My heart absolutely aches for your family. Dan was the rock that you all turned to, the catalyst for shenanigans and silliness. Dan and I worked together at Acrisure. I remember having conversations about how close our children were in age. He lit up when he talked about his family. Family and the Heat we’re definitely his favorite topic of conversation. My prayers go out to all who are missing Dan.

Danny was the best friend a guy could have! He introduced me to music, fun and excitement. I introduced him to my sister many years ago and it is still fresh in my mind. A terrible loss to our family and I miss him so much! My thoughts and love are with my sister Melissa, Julia, Danny and Sandra...rest in peace my brother...you will be missed and loved forever.
