RUSSELL - Mr. Daniel T. Russell aged 64 passed away peacefully in his sleep after a short battle with cancer on Tuesday, December 6, 2016. He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma (Ron) Havens; father, Jack Russell; brother, Richard Russell I; mother-in-law, Jeanne F. (Robert) Kinney; step-father-in-law, Gail R. DeYoung; brother-in-law, Daniel Kinney. Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Ann Russell; children, Jenifer Wohlgemuth, Sarah Russell, Daniel Russell, Abigail (John) Gray, Jack (Meagan) Russell, Dominic Russell; grandchildren, Jessica Wohlgemuth, Vanessa Russell, Danica russell, Arielle Russell-Kipen, Lexus Russel-Kipen, Taylor Russell - Kipen, John Russell - Kipen, Haylie Russell, Domanic Russell, Sidney Russell, Mya Gray, Ayden Russell, Keegan Russell, Jacob Wohlgemuth, and Kayleigh Wohlgemuth; one great granddaughter, Montana Rose Kipen; brothers, Jack (Lynn), Stephen (Anne), Orval (Cheryl), Denver, Carl, Kelly (Barb) and Timothy (Dianna) Russell; sisters, Verile (Keith) Murphy, Ilene Russell, Reba Hawley, Tammy Coon; also surviving are Ann's family, mother, Kathy DeYoung; brothers and sisters, Reah (Shawn) Johnson, Sandra (Brad) Niese, Gail (Kendra) DeYoung, Carol DeYoung, Thomas (Mary Lynn) Kinney, Susan Kinney, Fred (Leslie) Kinney; many nieces and nephews. Dan proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00AM Monday, December 12, 2016 at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park Ave. SW. His family will greet relatives and friends Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave., and one hour prior to Mass at Church on Monday. A Prayer service will be held at 7PM Sunday followed by a time of sharing of stories and memories at the funeral chapel.
