Daniel Timothy Paxson, age 59, of Lombard, Illinois, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026. Dan dedicated many years to Deluxe and Lift-All, where he served as Team Lead/Plant Manager with pride and integrity. Known for his strong work ethic, he approached every responsibility with determination and commitment. Dan fostered strong personal and professional relationships with everyone he worked with. Above all, he was the rock of his family—a steady source of strength, wisdom, and unwavering support. 

He was preceded in death by parents, Alan and Delores Paxson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bryce and Barbara Boston; brother, John Paxson; sister, Joan Franke; nephew, John Paxson Jr.; great-nephew, Gavin Mikula; and great-nieces and great-nephew,  Amelia, Addison, and Elijah Hagley. Dan will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 34 years, Brenee Paxson; children, Kenna and Austin Van Vuren, Bryce and Randi Paxson; grandchildren, Kaden, Rowan, and Reagan; siblings, Donna and Thaddeus Lewand, Julia and Mark Moore, Mark and Sandra Paxson; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and a host of lifelong friends. 

A casual service to celebrate Dan’s life will be held at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 2:00-3:15 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America.
