Daniel Keuning

Daniel Bruce Keuning, age 54, of Grandville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. Dan enjoyed his career in the mountains of Colorado as a nurse practitioner helping those on palliative care and hospice care. He loved serving others in any way possible, whether that be through his career in healthcare, or through his love of hunting and fishing. Dan’s faith was important to him and he believed in living like Jesus as much as possible through his service to others. Dan lived large and loud and brought everyone JOY in his path. He will be truly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Keuning. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 31 years, Lisl; children, Jacob Keuning, Joshua Keuning, Kylie and Cam Hinger; father, Bruce and Pat Keuning; sister, Julie and Chase Poindexter; parents-in-law, Pete and Ila Diepersloot; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Rodney and Sara Diepersloot, Renee and Paul Lanning, David and Ruth Diepersloot; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 21, at 11 a.m. at Ivanrest Church, 3777 Ivanrest Ave SW, Grandville, with Pastor Brandon Haan and Pastor Lorie Jonkman officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to Faith Hospice or the Susan Mast ALS Foundation.
