Daniel Kapteyn

KAPTEYN - Daniel L. Kapteyn, aged 46 of Grand Rapids, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2012. He was preceded by his mother, Deanna Joy Kapteyn, his nieces, Joy Deanne Van Laar and Rachael Joy Morrison. Surviving are his father and step-mother, Klaas and Norma Kapteyn; brother, Michael (Sally) Kapteyn; sisters, Laurie (Bruce) Morrison, Amy (Don) Kortman, Rachael (Randy) Van Laar; step-brothers, Scott (Michelle) Stegenga, Kurt (Sue) Stegenga, step-sister, Cindy (Doug) Lameyer; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012 at Immanuel Christian Reformed Church, 33 Elwell SW, with Pastor Donald Van Slyke officiating. Interment at Boynton Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends at the church Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the D.O.C.K.
