Daniel E. Kloosterhouse

Daniel E. Kloosterhouse, age 92, of Jenison was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 31, 2015. Dan was a faithful Christian example to his family and all who met him. He showed the importance of having God #1 in your life. He will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Margy. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Sharlene and Wayne Newenhouse, Mary Lou and Ron Helmholdt, Deborah Dalman; grandchildren, Shel and Tom Gruppen, Dan and Diane Newenhouse, Melissa Endline, Robin Helmholdt, Doug and Kelly Dalman, Dave and Sherri Newenhouse, Mark and Holly Dalman, Brian and Kim Newenhouse, Melinda and Wes White; 29 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ruth Adema, Burt Westveld; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday 11:00 am at Cornerstone United Reformed Church, 6442 36^th Ave., Hudsonville with Rev. Philip Vos and Rev. James Admiraal officiating. Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 6-9 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and on Wednesday from 10-10:45 at church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice or Right to Life.
