Danford Richmond

Richmond - Mr. Danford H. Richmond aged 97, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris; mother, Ines Burch; sister, Marilyn Anderson. Danford is survived by his daughters, Shilah (Stephen) Richard, Brooke (Scott) Cohoon, Collyn (Rodney) Wooden; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. Danford was the owner of Richmond Studio in Grandville where he shared his love of photography with so many. He gave his family everything and they have the pictures to prove it! Danford enjoyed sailing and loved spending time with his family at their Gun Lake cottage. He was a member of the Audubon Society, Grandville Rotary Club and the Camera Club. He was actively involved with the Grandville Historical Commission and spent many Wednesday afternoons working at the Grandville Museum. He was a WWII Veteran serving in the Army Air Corps. A Celebration of life open house will be held from 3PM to 5PM Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Georgetown Christian Fellowship, 3668 Port Sheldon St., Hudsonville.
