Dan C. Roest, age 83, of Hudsonville, peacefully passed on Sunday, February 9, 2025. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Emelander; and parents, Richard and Corrine Roest. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Carol Roest; children, Don (Lisa) Roest, Cris (Rick) Kerber; son-in-law, Jeff Emelander; grandchildren, Jennie Kerber, Megan Kerber, Justin Emelander, Josh Emelander, Jessica Avery; great-grandchildren, Ellery Emelander, Elisabeth Emelander, Atticus Avery; brother, Gary (Sue) Roest; and many extended family members. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 15, at noon at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Jamestown) 2371 Riley St., Hudsonville. The burial will take place at Salem Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 10 a.m.-noon prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice.
