Dale G. Hall, age 70, of Gowen, MI passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 15, 2020 with his wife at his side after a long battle with cancer.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Betty Hall; and sister, Nancy Hall.  Dale will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years, Sue; children, Kevin and Nicole Hall, Lindsay and Mike Pierce; five grandchildren, Rachael, Shelby (David), Hailey, Jared, and Jaxson; twin sisters, Judy Lootens and Trudy VanWyk; many loving extended family and dear friends.  He retired from Herman Miller after 27 years and enjoyed spending time outdoors. Many fun camping and fishing memories were made at both Miller Lake and Lincoln Pines, where great friendships were made over the years. Dale was an avid sports enthusiast, always cheering for his Detroit sports teams.  A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 20, 11 am at Bauer Community Fellowship, 4852 Bauer Rd. Hudsonville, with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 5-8 pm and also Friday from 10-10:45 prior to the service at the church.

Sending prayers to all of you. Dale was one of the special ones. His love for family was amazing. I loved how Erica would come home from weekends telling the good times she had. I love listening to here tell her girls the memories she has. May god bless all of you. Make memories everyday. Love you

I always loved my Uncle Dale but I didn’t fully appreciate him until I became a parent. It was then that I realized that what my kids love more than anything is when I play WITH them. Uncle Dale was always the guy jumping in the pool splashing everyone or playing epic hide and seek games in the basement. When he built the shelf for Lindsay’s barbies in the basement I thought it was the coolest thing in the world. I’ll never forget the lessons he was teaching us all along by living a life filled with laughter and love. I’ll be forever grateful for his love.
