Dale F. Bush

Dale Fred Bush, aged 84 of Hastings, formerly of Caledonia, passed away peacefully May 4, 2017 surrounded by family.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Bush; father, Clinton Bush; sisters and brother, Alice, Alfred, and Lois.  Dale is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joy A. Bush; children, Thomas (Cindy) Bush, Mary (Scott) Williams; grandchildren, Kelly (Ryan) Goldner, Michael (Ashley) Bush, Eric (Catrina) Bush, Michelle Williams, Michael Williams; great-grandchild, Derick Bush; and brother, John Bush.  Dale was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and retired after 35 years as a machinist at Leedy Manufacturing.  He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.  The family is planning a private memorial service.  A special thank you to the doctors and nurses of the Adult Critical Care Unit at Spectrum Health/Blodgett Hospital for providing compassionate care.  Memorial donations may be made to Relay for Life of Barry County.
