Dale Evenhouse

Dale George Evenhouse, age 75, of Wyoming, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, June 27, 2024.  He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Gertrude (Kolean) Evenhouse; brother, Roy Evenhouse. Dale is lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Linda; children and grandchildren, Joseph and Crista Evenhouse (Christian, Adrian, Nathan), Michael and Terrie Evenhouse (Rebecca, Mikayla, Jessica), Elizabeth Evenhouse; brothers, Ron and Ruth Evenhouse, Tom and Pam Evenhouse; Linda’s siblings, Barb and Bruce Risselada, Sue and Ron Wolters, Mike and Cindy Smith; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Dale and Linda met while participating in the SWIM program of the Christian Reformed Church and were married shortly following his graduation from Calvin College. His love of music and sharing the gospel are two things that Dale will be known for and what will be missed about him. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Lee St. Christian Reformed Church, 1261 Lee St. SW, Wyoming, 49509 with Dr. Jeff Stam officiating. Burial will take place at Lakewood Cemetery in Holland, MI. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday, July 5 from 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, and from 10:00-10:45 am at the church prior to the service on Saturday.
