Dale Edward Koster

Mr. Dale Edward Koster, age 80, of Belmont, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. He was born on November 25, 1943, to Glenn and Marjorie (Veldman) Koster in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 41 years, Cheryl; son, Bryan (Laura) Koster; daughters: Debby Koster, Carrie Fisher, Laura Rapa; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Joyce (Fred) Lytle; brother, Karl Koster; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Dale always had a robust zest for life, which led to many lifelong friendships. He loved to fish, hunt, and travel. He especially loved doing those things with his wife, Cheryl. Dale was an Eagle Scout and proud of the fact that he mentored several other young men to become Eagle Scouts. He had a career of over 52 years at Tabletting, Inc. where he was manager and became owner. He was preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of life will be held at 12 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont, MI with Rev. David Veldt officiating. His family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Emmanuel Hospice.
