Dale Driesenga, age 77, of Grandville, was called from his earthly home and journeyed to his heavenly home on Saturday, September 15, 2018. Dale was a loving husband, dad, and papa that treasured his family. He retired as a driver from DeWent Gravel after 46 years of faithful service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Gertrude Driesenga; brothers, James and Jay Driesenga. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of almost 40 years, Judie (VanDoorn); children and grandchildren, Jeff and April Driesenga (Logan, Katie), Jodi and Joel Zalewski (Melissa and Rob, Andrew and Allison, MaryBeth and Justin), Daniel and Janine DeLaat (Michelle and Sean, Rachael); 6 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Jo Ringelberg, Harold Driesenga, Elaine Kuiper, Arloa Rimar, Barb Driesenga, Kathy and Hal Warner; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Harlene Driesenga, Peter Kim and Sally Van Doorn; nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of Dale’s life will be held Saturday, September 22, 1:00 pm at Wesley Park United Methodist Church, 1150 32nd Ave, Wyoming, MI, with Pastor Dean Prentiss officiating.  Interment Rosedale Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends may meet the family from 12-1pm prior to the service at church.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.  The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff and caregivers of Faith Hospice for the love and compassionate care given to Dale.
