Cynthia Kay Rowan

Cynthia “Cyndi” Kay (Smith, Dyer) Rowan, age 64, of Jenison, left her life here to be reunited with her parents, Jack “John” Frank Rowan and Jacquelene Mae Dertien-Rowan on Thursday, July 6, 2017. Cyndi leaves behind her daughters, Michele Ann Valentine, Heidi Marie (William) Smith-Jackson, Crystal Jacquelene (Luke) Engelsma, Caitlin Jane Dyer, who gave her 9 grandbabies to brag about. She is also survived by her sisters, Marcia and Suzi; brother, Larry; best friend of 30+ years, Debbie; as well as many additional family members and friends. Cyndi loved a good campfire, rafting down Pine River, listening to records, and time spent with her grandchildren, family, and friends. She was always good for a laugh or two! A celebration of Cyndi’s life will be held on Friday, July 14, at 11:00 a.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Those who wish to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the needs of the family.

so sorry to see Cindy passed away i am Ruth Licari daughter your Mom and Dad where friends with my Mom and Dad Bud and Ruth and me and my sisters Donna, Denise, and Danita and my brother Bob we would come visit and play wth you guys and you taught us Pig latin and we talk it when we were together several years back we saw Marcia working at Sams Club Mom is in a nursing home for the last year she has had a couple stokes need an electric wheelchair to get around she cant see or hear well She has fallen and broke her back so she doesnt get around much, She wanted me to send her regrets so you would now she remembered all you guys and i am so sorry for your loss We lost Donna about 7 years ago from COPD so we know the loss you feel we also lost our son 11years ago he was 33 and had lung cancer with mets to the brain if you like to contact me my e mail is .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) phone number is 647 -9987 oh Mom was wondering what she died from if you would like to tell us God Bless Chuck and Diane Licari Marker

I'm so sorry to the family for their loss. It's always difficult to lose a loved one, but it's especially tragic to lose them early in life. I lost someone very dear to me and what brings me comfort is to realize death is only a temporary enemy (John 5:28,29). So although your time with Cynthia was cut short, you can have the hope of being reunited with her forever under perfect circumstances here on Earth (Revelation 21:4). Until then, please know that Jehovah God will give you the strength to endure (Psalm 94:17-19). Please accept my sincerest condolences.
