Curtis Emerson Kinney

Curtis Emerson Kinney, age 71, of Caledonia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 25, 2025. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially gardening and taking part in a variety of outdoor activities. He loved going on driving adventures and was always up for a good game of euchre, cribbage, or backgammon. A proud Ferris State Bulldog fan, he followed the team with enthusiasm. He was a dedicated and hard worker throughout his life, employed as a truck driver and laborer for several different businesses. He will be lovingly remembered by his children and grandchildren, Casey and Angela Kinney (Allison, Zackary), Kevin Kinney; sister and brothers, Terrie and Don Wicks, Jeff Kinney, Alan and Gerri Miller; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eileen and Hugh Kinney, Wayne Miller, several good friends, and his longtime girlfriend of 10 years, Lynda Marcellino.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 22, 11 am at Caledonia Vine St. Church, 250 Vine St. S.E., Caledonia. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, Nov. 21 from 5 to 8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 616 E. Main St. S.E., Caledonia.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Humane Society of West Michigan.
