I went to Ottawa with Craig and have not seen him since 1977 but the fact that I still remember him says a lot about his character; which was a really nice guy and funny as well as talented. I hate I moved away from GR and lost track of so many people like Craig. It sounds like he has a wonderful life and touched many people. My brother, Christopher Currie was in school with him and knew him better, has also passed (2015). It is hard to lose a sibling. I'm so sorry for your loss and know that you all will miss him terribly but just wanted you to know that I remember him from way back and thought highly of him. Peace

Craig always had a smile on his face and kind words to share. When you spoke to him you could see what a giving heart he had as he focused on the conversation you were having, always engaged. Such a joy to be around. You will be missed! Hugs to all in your family!

On behalf of the Aquinas College Faith Community, we extend our heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of Craig. He is remembered for his smile and for his passion for music. His Music education degree from Aquinas served him well as a teacher and mentor for many young musicians. May his trombone be featured in the angelic music he now enjoys. God's Comfort and Peace surround you all in your grief. His is a life to celebrate!. We extend our prayerful support.

Our deepest condolences to Craig’s family. I’ve been a friend of Craig’s for nearly 40 years as a member of the Kent Philharmonic Orchestra and the KPO’s Board of Directors. Rest In Peace Craig. You fought valiantly and gracefully against the big C. Now you are playing your trombone again in God’s heavenly orchestra. 💜🙏🏼✝️
