I miss him. He called me sometimes 10 times a day. He cared and wanted to hear about every silly thing I did everyday, what I had for breakfast, lunch, dinner. If I was watching TV upstairs or downstairs, if my cat was sleeping by me. I’m completely lost right now without him. I have a huge void in my life now. I loved him and I’m just missing him so bad right now. He was one of the most caring person I’ve ever known.

I have a lot of good memories of Craig as a childhood friend and the Veenendall family as a whole. Our yards were back-to-back in Wyoming Park. They were great neighbors. My condolences to the family.

As Mike said, we got acquainted with Craig through the business. After having dinner with us he would stay a while and watch TV. We would visit and tell each other how our day went. Most nights his phone would ring a lot. Whenever he had the chance he would preach the good news of Jesus. He would tell them how Jesus had saved his life. If you would give Jesus a chance, he can save yours also. I also listened to many calls thanking Craig for his help and giving them a chance. He was a wonderful person. Who I miss every night while I watch TV. He is with God and now has eternal peace.

Craig and I met around 2011..... He worked for J&J Bail-Bonds at the time.... he came to my business in Petoskey and was looking for give-away promo items... printed pens, pencils etc..... things he could give to the corrections officers at the jail.... As our business relationship grew, so did our friendship..... Soon, he was a main fixture at the dinner table just about everynight (if he wasn't there, he was certainly doing a bond).... His true life stories were amazing and his love for Jesus was beyond measure.... If you knew Craig, he most likely left a positive impression on your life...... We love you "Uncle" Craig and will miss you tremendously....RIP

Craig and I grew together. Our Dad’s were friends, business associates, and members of the Chicago Drive Merchants. We were friends, fellow athletes, and teammates. Craig was a gracious man and a friend for life, and I will greatly miss him.
