Craig Coleman

Craig David Coleman, age 59, of Walker, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 8th at the conclusion of a bucket list trip in Tennessee. He was with his son, Austin, celebrating his upcoming 60th birthday. Craig was a loving husband, dad, and Papa who dearly loved his family. He was blessed with a strong work ethic and took pride in everything he did, working at Evoqua Water Technologies (Xylem) as a welder/fabricator for many years. Craig enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and especially riding RZRs with his family and friends. He showed his love to others through his cooking. Craig had a contagious personality and could start up a conversation with anyone he would meet. Once you met him, you would be a friend for life! He was many things to many people, but his most important role was Papa. His desire to help others was evident to everyone who knew him. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary “El” Coleman. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 26 years, Sherin Coleman; his children, Travis and Kaylani Shooks, Austin Coleman, Allie and Colin Schten; he was a proud Papa to Waylon and Winsley; his father, David and Kathy Coleman; his mother, Mary Lou Coleman; his sister, Suzanne Coleman. A memorial visitation to celebrate Craig’s life will be held on Saturday, June 15, from 2-4 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.
