Corynn Blackport

Corynn S. Blackport, 86, of Jenison, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 29, 2018. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Allison Filighera; and her parents, Henry and Alice Blackport. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Arthur Blackport; grandchildren, Jason Filighera, Courtney Filighera, Ryan (Kerri) Filighera; great-grandchildren, Sean, Ian, Ethan, and Layla; and several nieces and nephews. According to Corynn’s wishes, a private graveside service was held.

My youth would have been exceedingly dull if it weren't for Connie and Allison. Connie had a wonderful sense of humor and a great sense of style. She was the original "cool" Mom who let us get away with far more than we should have. Whenever I see a vintage Ford Mustang convertible I'll think of her.
