What a great picture of Cornie Doezema! This is how I remember him, as both my own teacher and later, my teaching colleague. His calm, measured manner and thoroughly Reformed approach to all of Christian education influenced generations of students, and shaped my own years in the classroom, as both student and teacher. My condolences to all the family and relatives, with the certain assurance of Rev. 14:13, "And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them."
