Cornelia (Connie) G. Battjes, age 82, of Grandville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 9, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, and grandson, David D. Kleck.  Connie will be lovingly remembered by her children, Margaret H. Sumadji, Carolyn R. Nelson, Liam D. Battjes, Janet and Gary Nieuwenhuis, Connalee and John Kleck; 16 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 14, at Eighth Reformed Church, 841 Burton St. SW, Wyoming, 49509.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Tuesday from 10-10:45 am prior to the service at the church.
