Connie Lou Walters, age 73, of Grandville, passed away in her home on Saturday, September 28, 2024. Connie was a loving mom and grandma who especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She thoroughly enjoyed being outside and tending to her yard and flowers. Connie was known for her honesty, genuine giving spirit and fun-loving personality. She was a strong woman who persevered with grace through the different trials in her life. Connie worked as a Registered Nurse for Pine Rest for 45 years. She was skilled at her job and made many friendships along the way. She was a voracious reader and especially good at enjoying the simple things in life. Some of her best memories were from the many camping trips and family vacations spent with her family. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Brooke and Matthew Clifton, Adam Mol; grandchildren, Caiden Mol, Cooper Mol, Ceaton Mol, Giselle Clifton, Jackson Clifton; siblings, Allen and Mary Walters, Gloria and Fred Loew, Sharon and Dennis Tanis, Randy and Carla Walters, Sally and John Yonker, Betty Walters and Jeff Slayer. 
 

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 4, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Inurnment will take place at Graafschap Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
