Colleen A. Antiel

Colleen Antoenette Antiel, age 81, of Kentwood, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 9, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; son, Scott David; parents, Martin and Florence Borough; along with her siblings. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Carrie and Bob Robinson, Paula and Dean Shillinger, Kelly and Ken Kurzyniec; grandchildren, Elaine and Russ Gerbers, Mike and Jean Robinson, Teracia and Matt Shaver, Trevor and Lindsi Shillinger, Tori Shillinger, Kyle, Kayla, Kourtney Kurzyniec; the apple of her eye her great grandchildren, Owen and Landon Shaver; her loving companion, Zoey; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Bob Gravelle, Jeanette Bray; many nieces and nephews. Colleen greeted everyone with a smile, always putting others before herself. She was united in marriage to Gerald David Antiel on February 27, 1960. They owned J&A Services for many years. She loved bowling, golfing, traveling, and volunteering at schools. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, 11 am at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 1253 52nd St. SE, Kentwood, with Fr. Peter Vu Celebrant. Interment Pine Hill Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family to celebrate Colleen’s life on Friday from 10-11 am at church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Helen DeVos Children's Hospital or St. Mary Magdalen Church.
