Obituary
Remembering Clinton L. Adams
Clinton “Lee” Adams, age 81, of Wyoming, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Wyoming on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
Lee was quiet in nature with a dry sense of humor who was blessed with a generous heart, always willing to help others. He cherished his family deeply, and his two grandchildren brought him immeasurable joy. Meticulous and organized, he took pride in doing things well and could fix just about anything. He shared many teachable moments with his family.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and later dedicated his career to the FAA as a radar technician at Gerald R. Ford International Airport, retiring in 2005. He enjoyed golfing both in Michigan and Arizona, where he spent his winters in Mesa and established many lasting friendships. He also found joy in cooking, dancing, watching movies, and exploring his creative side through macramé and stained glass over the years. Above all, he will be remembered for the quiet ways he cared for others, the friendships he made, and the love and joy he shared with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Edith Adams, sister, Sandy Hower, brother, Richard Adams. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Rhonda (Mark) Boggs, Jeff Adams; grandchildren, Shelby (Erik) Ruster, Dillon Boggs; and great-grandchildren, Collin Ruster, and Emerson Layman to whom he was affectionately known as “GGP.” He will also be remembered by his former wife of 18 years, Barbara Woirol (Adams) Morgan. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI on Friday, Oct 2, 2026. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association or to the Diabetes Foundation.
