Clarice Zuidema, age 77, of Jenison, passed away peacefully at home, Sunday, January 21, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Abe and Janet VanLangen; brother, Norman VanLangen; and sister, Elsa (Texer) Brouwer. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 57 years, Edwin Zuidema; children, Jim and Roxanne Zuidema, Lori (Zuidema) Hoving, Beth and Jim Berkenpas, Joyce Zuidema, Jean and David Singer; grandchildren, Becca and Judd Edema, Adam and Christin Hoving, Nicole and Pete Johnson, Clar and Rob Menaker, Kerry Zuidema, and Andrea Zuidema; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Cleone Meulenbelt, Kathleen Helmus, Janice and Al VanHaitsma, Ruth and Ken Postma; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Fair Haven Church, 2900 Baldwin Street, Jenison, with Rev. Harvey Heneveld officiating. Interment Rest Lawn Memorial Park of Holland. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
