Dear Donna, Tim and Jeanne and families, We were saddened to hear of your father's passing, yet rejoicing he is with our Savior whom he loved dearly. What a father you had.....and no one replaces a dad - ever. I have so many memories of him as I was growing up in Hessel. He always had a smile on his face and could be quite mischievous. I loved your mom as well. Your dad was a hard worker and was an encouragement to my dad as his pastor. I was so glad that Floyd called to tell me. I had a medical test scheduled this morning and was so looking forward seeing all of you. The test finished at 12:15 and so was not able to make it. I have kinda lost track of you and would like to connect. My email is attached. Hugs and prayers.

I had the pleasure of meeting Clarence during the late, hot summer this year and we chatted, and then he dropped in at my nearby NAV condo. He was a caroming man of substance I wished town better in our few meetings. I left for a U.P. Friend's funeral, and many more. Saddened to hear he had gone into care, shocked to hear of his passing. Many at NAV (I'm a newer Rez) have mentioned him mourning your loss...which is theirs, too, one goes back 50 years). Know that many grieve with you and wish you the comfort of friends, consolation of family, and faith for his journey.

Our prayers and thoughts go out to the family. We really are going to miss Clarence. He was a great Christen man. We know that today he is with the Lord and hope you will take comfort in that and make this a time of celebration of his life on earth. Psalm 116:15
