Christy Ann Jacobsen

Christy Jacobsen, age 65, of Dorr, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022 with family by her side. She was born in April 1957 in Grand Rapids. Christy was a graduate of Rogers High School. She was a very thoughtful, creative person who could befriend anyone. She enjoyed vacationing in Florida and Hawaii, walking along the beaches collecting shells. Christy’s interests and hobbies included fishing, swimming, fundraising, volunteering, making crafts, and gardening. She was preceded in death by her dad, Ronald Richard Milanowski. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 24 years, Chris; her adult children, Amy and Kevin Wildman, Rick Ipema, Ashley Gardner and Roy; her grandchildren, Codie, Kayla, Julia, Taylor, Madison, Ella, Jaxon, and Dawson; mother, Nancy Hall; brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held September 30, 2022, 2 p.m. at MKD Kentwood Chapel, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave., Kentwood, with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. A private burial will take place at Blain Cemetery at a later date.
