Remembering Christopher Scott Ganley

On October 18th 2026, Christopher Scott Ganley, beloved Husband, father, “Grumpa”, brother and friend, started his next great adventure. He was surrounded by his loved ones. He passed away peacefully at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit awaiting a liver transplant, after a 10 year struggle with NASH.

Erin and family. I know it's so hard to let them go. But as the song says God Only Cries for the Living ,Because the living are so far from home. He's at peace now. I wish I had more words that would help you and the kids get through this time. Love ya all

— Chelle Carpenter-Whitney

I know you are resting now away from the pain and anguish of what you went through these last few years. You're getting to see Grandma and Grandpa Ganley and your mom and dad. How sweet is that. My prayers are with your sweet family. May the memories fill their hearts when they feel sadness. Rest in peace sweet Chris!

— Maria Witty
