Christopher Mesery II

MESERY - Christopher F. Mesery II, aged 24 of Rockford passed away Monday, November 14, 2016. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Randy Proctor; great grandparents, Elmer and Maude Bajema. Christopher leaves behind to cherish his memory his father, Christopher F. Mesery; mother and step-father, Jennifer and Steve McCune; his little sister, Bethany Mesery; grandparents, Frank Calabrese, Linda Calabrese, Bill and Audrey Bajema, Susan Proctor; special uncle, Don Cleland; his beloved dogs, Hilites Hans Mesery and Brownie Mesery and his bearded dragon, Slayer; best friend, Paul Syrek; girlfriend, Lindsey Lucas; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Christopher's greatest passions were his music and skateboarding. He loved all genres of music and especially performing as a DJ. Recently Chris decided to teach himself to play the guitar, soon after he started playing in a band with some friends. He was also very passionate about learning, reading various books to gain as much knowledge as he could. A celebration of Chris's life will be held 1:00PM Friday, November 18, 2016 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE.
