Christine Apol

On November 4, 2015, Chris, having walked through all of life’s blessings and challenges, now stands in the glory of Heaven. She was a woman with a strong and committed faith who lived a life of simplicity, gratitude and generosity. Chris deeply loved her family and they loved her in return. She was preceded in death by her husband, Al. She is survived by her children, Faith (Dan) Apol, David (Marcia) Apol, Lois (Jim) Brouwer, Tim (Twila) Apol; and 3 sisters-in-law. Chris had 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was our precious mother and grandmother and she will never be forgotten. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Saturday, November 7 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday with Rev. Marcia Elders officiating. Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be sent to Faith Hospice.
