​Chester Slaktoski, age 97, of Wyoming, peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024, to join his Lord and Savior. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Chester will be deeply missed by his children, David and Jean Slaktoski, Michael and Cheryl Slaktoski, Jeffrey and Nikki Slaktoski, and step-son Ricky and Fran Hargreaves. His ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild will forever hold him in their hearts. He is also survived by his brother, Frank Slaktoski, and sister-in-law, Delores Slaktoski. Chester is reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Vivian Slaktoski, his son Chester Slaktoski Jr., his great-granddaughter, Katie Mott, and many siblings who have gone before him. A mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Chester's life will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 11am at St. John Vianney, with Rev. John Vallier officiating. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects one hour prior to the mass, from 10-11am.
