Cheryl Peters

PETERS - Cheryl Marie Peters, age 69, passed away October 21, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Phyllis Popiel; former husband, Victor Peters. Cheryl is survived by her children, Dave (Celena) Peters, Angela Specter-Peters; grandchildren, Brooke Lilly, Hunter Peters, Emily Peters, Simon Specter, Frankie Specter, Lena Specter; brother, Philip Popiel; sisters, Alice (George) Rozenski, Karen Popiel, Jane (Mark) Clements; several nieces and nephews. Cheryl was a trailblazer for women in business. She worked hard and owned her own insurance agency. Cheryl traveled west Michigan and the Upper Peninsula assisting businesses with health and life insurance. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 29 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont. Her family will greet relatives and friends 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday and one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel. Friends and family are invited to a luncheon following the service.
